Know those nasty holes the pins leave in your tightly weaved fabric? A good friend (Thanks Karen!) recently suggested magnets as fasteners and I've been doing a lil research on it. Received my imported Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets and came up with a way of incorporating them into the brooches for the lovely ladies who do not want to poke holes into their Armani jackets.

Putting the two magnets together. Always slide the magnets off each other instead of pulling them apart as shown in picture as pulling it apart will put strain on the glue attaching it to the backing.

Holds together 5 envelopes with an unbelievably strong hold.

After experimenting (wearing the brooch on certain outfits and jumping up and down like monkeys), they hold up on T-shirts and even on denim. They do not work as well on super thick materials like 3 ply canvas and fleece but are hardy enough for most other fabrics.

I've included a new section on the magnets should you want to read more about them here. Magnets, although handy, are not suitable for people wearing pacemakers nor electronic devices so avoid placing your lil gadgets in your pocket under the brooch.

I know I know... tardy tardy me. It's been months packed with excitement and the main culprit for the late post would be the new set of pinkpaws to my little family. My partner, my monster cat and I welcomed a little kitty cat a while ago and it's been a huge adventure with the new darling.

Here's a picture of our little ones being all cute and manipulative while they wreck our lives.

Chewie's my 10 yr old on the left and on the floor's the new 7 month old Bunnieboy.

I'm sure at some point they'll be glad I got this collection out so I will be 100% human minion to their Royal Feline arses for a bit.
