How do you make these lovely things?
I usually start designing by getting a feel of what I would like to create that day. Experimenting with fabrics and how well they hold on to a shape, then deciding on what colours I intend for any particular piece usually results in a unique piece. I do not follow trends so it's mostly based on how I am feeling that particular day. On the blog you will see a myriad of creations from sweet to quirky to fierce shapes so there's no telling what else I might post on the blog next. Each piece is cut by hand and sewn together then finished with a hot glued base.
Can I choose whether I would like a brooch, hairclip/hair barette or hairband?
None of the items featured have been finished on a attached fastener. You can indicate whether you would like a particular piece to be finished as any of the below, or even the new magnetic fasteners at an additional SGD$2.00 per brooch.
Can I order a sold out item?
I would love to say yes but this is subject to availability of materials. Please kindly note that re-producing a replica item by hand means there will be differences from the photographed sample as no one can cut by hand, 2 petals in the exact dimensions each time. In any case, I would still love to know that you want 50,000 of the same (yet not the same) hand-made item. Just drop me an email and we can discuss the timeframe and other nitty gritty details.
I will require a non-refundable 50% deposit on every order for SOLD OUT items as well as CUSTOMISED orders. For your end, it ensures that I give you what you want and you will not be paying for something you don't like.
On my end, it ensures that my efforts will not go down the drain and that in the event that you reject the pieces, I would have covered my material costs.
I know it's not a lot of money but each piece is made painstakingly by hand and is one of the kind as I cannot cut a petal to the exact same shape as the next. This not only incurs material costs, it also incurs time and I will not be able to recycle the pieces once they are made and put together should any client reject it. All pieces will be photographed and emailed to each client before a final confirmation. The bespoke piece will be mailed once full payment is received.
Can you make me that pink carnation but except I want it to be a blue zinnia with a pinwheel and a dancing cat?
Starting from 5th April 2010, all custom orders that require a change in colour and size from existing designs, will be charged a 20% surcharge on top of the price of the existing design.
If you require a dancing cat or would like one pinweel with your blue zinnia, the design will be quoted upon request by email.
How do I place an order?

1) Name of item you wish to purchase or attach the picture of intended purchase to your email
2) Your mailing address
3) Your preferred payment mode (Bank transfer / Paypal*)
Your order (subject to stock availability) will be confirmed via email, with payment details.
* Payments via Paypal are subjected to a handling and admin surcharge of SGD1.50.
When will I receive the purchased item?
Your lovely hand-crafted purchase will be mailed out within 3 - 5 working days upon receipt of payment. Please note that all items are non-refundable and I will not be responsible for any loss (through non-registered mail) or damages that occurred during delivery.
How much do you charge for shipping?
All shipping within Singapore is FREE via normal snail mail but registered mail (which I highly recommend for peace of mind) will just be an additional SGD2.50.
I am in Alaska but I really want a flower hairband! HELP!?
